Merging Hackett London’s modern interpretation of classic British menswear with David Gandy Wellwear’s focus on fabrics that enhance wellbeing, the two brands have collaborated on a collection of luxury loungewear and sleepwear that maximises both style and comfort.
Each garment in the collection benefits from ‘Wellwear Care’, an innovative fabric-moisturising treatment pioneered by Wellwear founder David Gandy, after he came across scientific research that showed the softest fabrics can improve psychological wellbeing.
Lounge Sets crafted in a soft blend of Lyocell and BCI cotton include navy-blue trousers and either a matching classic crew neck or hoodie. The Waffle Lounge Set in off-white or navy comes in 100% cotton with a Henley button down the neck. The Ultimate Lounge Tee is inspired by Wellwear’s signature bestselling style, and is made from a blend of BCI cotton, modal and elastane for total comfort – sure to become a favourite wardrobe staple.
And there also two pyjama sets. The Premium Pyjama Set includes a long-sleeve T-shirt and choice of matching trousers or shorts. The Ultimate Pyjama Set, meanwhile, is a more elevated option. Featuring a collar, contrasting piping details and a breast pocket, it recalls traditional pyjama designs.
The Waffle Robe completes the collection, with its elegant colour palette reflecting Wellwear’s signature hues of white, grey and navy, with dark green accents in the form of trims and embroidered branding.
Gandy says, ‘I am delighted that as Wellwear’s first collaboration we are partnering with such an esteemed British menswear authority who appreciates the same values that we do. Both brands’ commitment to craftsmanship and quality is second to none, but we approach it from different perspectives which is what makes the collection so unique.’
