Timeless style: Slim d’Hermès Perpetual Calendar

Hermès adds two handsome new perpetual calendars to its Slim d'Hermès line

The Slim d’Hermès line was launched in 2015, and in just a few years has established itself as one of the strongest contenders when it comes to svelte and stylish dress watches. And it’s easy to see why: the timepieces have a clean and timeless aesthetic while retaining a contemporary edge, and just the right amount of Hermès’s trademark whimsy. Importantly, it has the timekeeping to back it up, with the collection becoming a showcase of some of the maison’s finest in-house watchmaking.

A duo of new additions bolster the range, equipped with one of the most challenging complications, a perpetual calendar. This function removes the need for fiddly manual adjustments, automatically accounting for the different days of the month, along with leap years. It comes powered by the ultra-thin manufacture H1950 movement, which measures in at just 4mm thick.

It also incorporates a moon-phase indication, elegantly displayed on a counter at 3 o’clock, which sees a mother-of-pearl moon gracefully make its way across a sparkling aventurine sky. The watch comes in two variations, titanium and platinum or a contrasting titanium and red gold, both matched with a contemporary matte anthracite dial.
