Many designs of Piaget, the Swiss luxury jewellery and watch house, have been inspired by the sun. As the source of all life, the sun’s positive energy symbolises joy, and embodies the house’s lively spirit and optimism that are characterised in its collections. All this solar brilliance is captured in the Piaget Sunlight collection, each piece featuring the warmth and substance of gold combined with luminous motifs.

A new pendant in the range has been created in collaboration with Harrods for their first limited edition together. In white gold with 28 brilliant cut diamonds, it features a striking malachite at its centre, a vibrant ornamental green stone with veins and different intensities of hue that give it a unique and dynamic movement. The colour is significant, as the green is Harrods’ signature colour, and it is also reminiscent of the Piaget family’s home in the Neûchatel Jura region, bursting with inspiring verdant landscapes. ‘The colour of malachite echoes nature,’ says Stéphanie Sivrière, Piaget’s product creation director. ‘It’s a theme that has always inspired Piaget.’ Just 15 Piaget for Harrods Sunlight pendants will be made, radiant talismans bringing sunshine and happy vibes.
