As one of the few names flying the flag for luxury British watchmaking, Bremont knows a thing or two about representing its country against all odds. This makes its partnership with England Rugby and the game’s spiritual home Twickenham Stadium all the more natural, not only united by a sense of civic pride, but also the precision, robustness and technical ability required of both its timepieces and the players on the pitch. 

The latest product of this collaboration, the limited-edition S300 RFU, delivers the hard-wearing properties expected of a watch that could survive the toughest of scrums. It is based on Bremont’s ‘Supermarine Type 300’, benefiting from all the features you’d expect of this sturdy diving watch and built using the watchmaker’s signature three-piece case construction.

Beyond this, it of course comes with a number of special touches that nod to its rugby associations. Following on from the RFU 150, created last year to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Rugby Football Union, this latest iteration comes in a slightly slimmer 40mm and decked out in the red, white and blue of the England team. Meanwhile, the clean and pared-back dial features a debossed rose, as well as the motif repeated on the closed case back surrounded by the text ‘England Rugby – Twickenham’.
