Transatlantic tailor Thom Sweeney has just launched its first ecommerce store. The brand’s handsome and modern ready-to-wear collection is now available to purchase direct from the brand for the first time ever. The site has been created to showcase the its elegant spring/summer 20 collection and offers a suitably luxurious shopping experience, reflecting the clean, modern aesthetic. The launch of the site is particularly apt given the current lockdown and should provide welcome retail therapy for menswear enthusiasts. And Thom Sweeney is promising to use the platform to support the fight against Covid-19 in the tailor’s two hometowns – London and New York. Founders Thom Whiddett and Luke Sweeney have pledged 10 per cent of all ecommerce sales to Heroes in the UK and the New York City Mayor’s Covid-19 Emergency Relief Fund in the US.

Heroes has been established to support NHS staff during the Covid-19 outbreak with the provision of PPE, counselling, and in helping restaurants deliver hot meals to hospital workers. The New York City’ Mayor’s Fund is supporting healthcare workers, people in essential industries, small businesses, and vulnerable New Yorkers during the Covid-19 crisis.
