Double act: Jaeger-LeCoultre
Jaeger-LeCoultre brings its classic 1930 Reverso model into the 21st century
Watches & Jewellery 11 Dec 2018
Characterised by a reversing case that conceals the dial and protects the face, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s distinctive Reverso model was designed in the early 1930s to withstand polo matches played by British Army officers in India. The Reverso Tribute Duoface is the latest interpretation of this classic timepiece, combining a flying tourbillon with the Duoface concept – two highly sophisticated techniques used together for the first time. The two dials offer two different time zones, with the front face featuring a blue sunray dial, hand-applied silvered indexes and flying tourbillion, and the reverse face displaying the second time zone, and the day and night indicator.
