Hermés Arceau Astrologie Nouvelle
The house of Hermès may be known for its silk scarves but it has also been creating elegant timepieces since 1928. And its latest unique watches have been upgraded with wood marquetry dials. The dial on the new Arceau Astrologie Nouvelle watch replicates the design of the Astrologie Nouvelle scarf using tulipwood, which has a fine, firm grain that perfectly adapts to the art of marquetry, while the Slim d’Hermès watch features the effigy of Pegasus composed of rare woods. Each design is available in a limited edition of eight pieces and both are encased in white gold with an alligator strap.
