Time switch: Cartier’s Santos

Cartier has updated its classic Santos model to focus more on comfort and proportions

When Cartier’s Santos model was first created in 1904, its distinctive curved-edged case became symbolic of the modern era.

The latest 2018 model stays true to this original philosophy. While the iconic square-shaped case and eight screws on the bezel remain unchanged, the Santos has been updated to focus on comfort and proportions, and the bezel features sleeker lines to accentuate the dynamic of the watch.

The new strap has been designed for adaptability and ease of movement and thanks to Cartier’s QuickSwitch system, all versions (available in steel, gold, calfskin or alligator skin) are interchangeable.
