All tied up: Shaun Gordon

The tiemaker’s new collection, A Well Dressed Man, takes inspiration from the Victoria & Albert Museum and a poem by Lang Leav

Having worked as a menswear designer for 15 years, most recently at renowned Jermyn Street shirtmaker Turnbull & Asser (alongside developing his eponymous accessories brand), Shaun Gordon knows a thing or two about how a striking tie can add personality to a formal business look.

Inspired by a visit to the Victoria & Albert Museum and a poem by Lang Leav, A Well Dressed Man, his new ready-to-wear and bespoke collection showcases Gordon’s long-held fascination with turning two-dimensional formats into three-dimensional forms, while renewing classical patterns, such as paisley, medallions and spots with in-depth textural details, made from a range of limited-run silks, wools and linen blends.
