Marylebone’s Carousel restaurant is known for its innovative approach to dining. The restaurant is a place where culinary minds meet, with Carousel’s ever-changing roster of guest chefs from across the world cooking for hungry Londoners. Carousel also hosts cooking classes, workshops, exhibitions and events, there’s always something for the curious and creative to enjoy.

This summer Carousel has launched an initiative called Greatest Hits for which they have created four menus to be enjoyed three different ways – either eaten in the restaurant, delivered to your home or as a dinner party created in your home. Each menu is available for a couple of weeks and is inspired by some of the Carousel team’s favourite dishes they have cooked over the five years since the restaurant opened.

The current and final menu is available until 26 September and takes its inspiration from the USA. It includes crayfish sliders; pork and fennel sausage rigatoni with ricotta; smoked beef brisket and pork ribs with smashed potatoes, ramps and black garlic, plus pickled red cabbage slaw – the height of exquisite barbecue. For dessert, divinely tempting smores with chocolate mousse, Graham crackers and brown butter caramel.

Greatest Hits home deliveries are available within five miles of the restaurant and are designed to be finished in your kitchen, with detailed instructions on how to get that perfect restaurant plate. The directions are clear and easy with careful consideration given to what travels well and what preparation even the clumsiest of cooks can manage. Carousel has a big garden with lots of outside space, but if you’re not ready to dine at a restaurant, the delivery option is a really fun and satisfying way to get a proper (and properly delicious) restaurant menu at home.

Eat in Greatest Hits is available at two sittings – 6.45pm and 8.30pm – from Tuesday to Saturday – for £39.50. Pick up and delivery is available from Tuesday to Saturday – menus are £27.50 for pick up, £30.50 for those within three miles of the Marylebone restaurant and £32.50 for those up to five miles away from Carousel. carousel-london.com
