Bell & Ross’s colourful new diver’s watch offers both style and functionality by the boatload

Bell & Ross is bringing back the Seventies with its bright new diver’s watch, inspired by the orange dials that took off in the decade. However, far from being retro in design, it instead adds an extra contemporary edge to the watchmaker’s signature square-shaped silhouette seen across its BR collections.

The bold shade is used in underwater settings to set objects apart from their surrounds, seen in the colour of diving suits. And this is just one of the BR 03-92 Diver Orange’s features that improves the legibility of the dial in extreme conditions, including indices coated in Super-LumiNova and skeletonized Super-LumiNova®-filled hands that enhance the watch’s readability.

This is bolstered by further elements that come together to make this a rugged and reliable diving companion. Along with offering water resistance of up to 300 metres, it is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel with a luminescent dot at 12 o’clock to easily set time references. The precise, automatic movement is protected by the resilient steel case equipped with a guard that guarantees protection against impact and water leakage. Meanwhile, the sapphire crystal features an anti-reflective coating that is 2.85mm thick, compared to the 1.5mm seen on the BR 03-92, further enhancing its water resistance.

Limited to 250 pieces, the BR 03-92 Diver Orange comes with two practical straps, a woven black rubber option and a second in matching orange synthetic fibre, which is easily adjusted over a diving suit thanks to its clever Velcro closure system. The watch is available exclusively in Bell & Ross boutiques and online.
