Whether you want to be the first to hold the watchmaking world’s latest creations or discover more about how to enjoy a career in horology, Geneva’s exciting flagship event is the place to be

Celebrating the marvels of the watchmaking world, from Saturday 5 to Monday 7 April, Watches and Wonders Geneva will open its doors to the public, where 60 watch brands will present not only their latest exquisite creations but their young, talented craftspeople and apprentices.

The salon, held at Geneva Palexpo, is a unique chance to explore big players such as Bremont, Rolex, Piaget and Zenith present their innovative timepieces alongside independent brands such as Christiaan van der Klaauw, Armin Strom and HYT via hands-on workshops, educational experiences and meet-the-expert encounters.

The event is the largest watchmaking salon ever held in Geneva with sixty exhibiting brands

From 1-5 April, visitors can enjoy free guided tours, discovery workshops and panel discussions focused on the younger generation at the In the City event. Held at the Watchmaking Village at Pont de la Machine, bookshops, cinemas and at horology boutiques throughout the city, this is designed to broaden perspectives on watchmaking.

On 3 April, these boutiques will remain open until 9pm to honour Geneva as the watchmaking capital of the world, with a special performance from French electronic duo Bon Entendeur on the Quai du Général-Guisan.

Attendees can expect a number of scheduled activities and one-off events

The focus this year is firmly on fostering younger watchmaking talent. The salon’s dynamic space brings together innovative brands, startups and watchmaking schools designed with young people in mind, including hands-on workshops and conferences exploring the role of women in watchmaking as well as emerging talents and trades.

Whether you just want to get your hands on Piaget’s latest timepiece, or hear from an expert watchmaker at Bremont, the salon’s extensive programme will not disappoint. The time is now.

Watches and Wonders and In the City events are held at various locations throughout the city including Geneva Palexpo, Pont de la Machine and watchmaking boutiques. For more information, visit watchesandwonders.com; @watchesandwonders
