Tough love: Citroën unveils the Ami Buggy

Fun and adventure is at the heart of Citroën’s newest electric city car

Citroën has already enamoured us with the ‘oh-so-cute’ Ami last year, its electric “Pushmi-Pullyu” city car. It has now created an evolved Ami with an edge. The “Buggy” concept car turns the cuddly Ami into something Indiana Jones would commandeer to escape a sticky situation. It retains the simplicity of what has now been designated the Ami Electric, but wider wheels with knobbly tyres, bull bars and LED light bars take it off for adventure. A spare tyre on the roof completes the rugged all-terrain look, but the overarching mood is still one of fun and joie de vivre.
