Zenith creates a one-off, pink-hued take on its Defy Midnight in aid of breast cancer charity Pink Ribbon Switzerland

October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, where people over the world come together to both show support for those affected by the condition, as well as raise vital funds to progress research and develop new treatments. Switzerland’s annual Pink Ribbon breast cancer gala, taking place in Zurich at the end of the month, will highlight this important issue, as well as hold a silent auction with some very special one-off items to support the cause.

Among the lots will be an elegant pink-hued take on Zenith’s Defy Midnight timepiece created especially for the occasion. The collection is designed with the modern woman in mind, with its sleek silhouette a contemporary and feminine take on a classic steel sports watch. This particular model shines with its colourful gradient dial, complemented by a dazzling array of 44 brilliant-cut pink sapphires around the bezel that reflect its changing shades. The addition of diamonds across the indexes further adds to the glamorous nature of the timepiece.

The versatile 36mm watch comes powered by Zenith’s precise automatic Elite 670SK movement. Thanks to its quick strap-change system, the style can be effortlessly switched up to suit the occasion, from the smart-casual steel bracelet to rubber options in white with pink leather, or black with a velvet effect.
