Aston Martin has confirmed that there will be a new V12 Vantage. Yet, the good news was caveated with the fact that this will be the very last Vantage to wear the haloed badge. Legislation and shifting public opinion have consigned the mighty V12 to the history books. Much like our newly woke James Bond, Aston Martin is shifting with public opinion, yet it is affording a last hurrah to this model. Usually kitted out with a V8, the Vantage V12’s USP has been to crowbar the biggest Aston engine into its smallest car for a particularly potent mix. ‘When it came to designing the final edition, we really wanted to celebrate that sense of raw, explosive performance with something extreme and unapologetic.
