Fusing Italian craftsmanship with Arabian flair, a Hanuxe handbag adds exotic elegance to any ensemble

Hanan Aljabr was born in Saudi Arabia, but spent many holidays in Italy growing up, which sparked her interest in style and craftsmanship. Uninspired by high-end handbags already on the market, she founded her own luxury handbag brand Hanuxe with a focus on understated elegance and quality. Aljabr favours muted, neutral colours and minimal design, so she decided to translate this into bags, with a small debut collection of pieces crafted from an array of ethically-sourced exotic skins, which become even more beautiful with time. Each bag is handmade in a workshop near Florence by a team of artisans. From the length of the strap to the colour of the lining, every detail has been meticulously considered, and this month Hanuxe is introducing elegant cardholders in ostrich, python and lizard that are ideal for the discerning man.
