Over the decades Omega’s chic Constellation has taken many forms, each united by an elegant aesthetic and precision timekeeping. This year, the watchmaker is adding a new generation of men’s watches to the line, combining the latest innovations with the signature stylistic touches that have made the Constellation such an enduring classic.

These sophisticated details include its iconic claws and half-moon facets at either end of the case, applied in a reimagined design that subtly enhances the Constellation’s best features. The watch has a more slender look thanks to bevelling along the edges of the case, while the crown has been slight reshaped. This streamlining continues to the dial, with slimmed-down hands and the addition of new indexes, whose form is inspired by the facets of the Freedom Tower in Manhattan.

Almost all the bezels in the collection are made from polished ceramic, in a nod to the original Constellation Manhattan of 1982 that featured shiny sapphire glass. Speaking to the watchmaker’s pioneering use of materials, the bezels feature Roman numerals produced in Omega Ceragold or Liquidmetal, while the one model with a stainless-steel bezel is adorned with contrasting blackened markings.

The watches are handsomely finished with leather straps that come with an anti-bacterial rubber lining, while the models can also be paired with a metal bracelet from the Constellation 39mm collection. The watches are powered by Omega’s Master Co-Axial 8900 or 8901 calibres, which are Master Chronometer certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) – a testament to their high standards of quality, performance and magnetic resistance.
