Hermès’ sleek, contemporary aesthetic makes its latest outing in the handsome H08

Hermès’ men’s artistic director Véronique Nichanian has long been a master of discreet luxury, creating effortless and contemporary designs that pay just the right amount of dues to the heritage of the renowned maison. And it’s an ethos that has embedded itself into its watch designs, combining the best of watchmaking tradition with an unmistakable aesthetic and natural sense of whimsy that sets it apart from its Swiss counterparts.

It’s latest watch, the Hermès H08, is no exception. This thoroughly modern take on a sports-chic timepiece offers both versatility and style, packaged in a design that plays with angles, curves and contrasting textures to striking effect.

The cushion-shaped watch comes in a sleek black version with a graphene-filled composite case topped with a satin-brushed and polished ceramic bezel, presented on a black rubber strap. Two further models feature firstly a matt black DLC-coated titanium case, and a second in satin-brushed titanium, with the option of pairing with a coloured woven strap developed specially for the H08. Powering the new models is Hermès’ precise in-house automatic H1837 movement.
