One of the most iconic sartorial streets in the world, Savile Row is home to many beautiful interiors populated by enviably dressed mannequins.

In the case of Huntsman at 11 Savile Row, its décor inspired that of the tailoring shop in Kingsman: Secret Service (2014), whose director Matthew Vaughn is a longstanding customer. While the shop is embellished with many curiosities – the most notable being two stags’ heads a customer left there about a century ago – the space upstairs is equally intriguing.

Now, Huntsman is unveiling the relaunch of its intimate private members space there – the Huntsman Club – where its most esteemed patrons may unwind amid not only its bespoke tailoring but the fascinating references to Huntsman’s heritage scattered throughout. These include framed patterns of their most notable clientele, from Gregory Peck to Katharine Hepburn, as well as a pair of Henry Huntsman’s original riding breeches, alluding to the brand’s equestrian origins.

Huntsman’s managing director Taj Phull says, ‘Commitment to our clients goes far beyond the clothes on their back, although that remains of paramount importance. We nurture and cherish relationships with our clients through generations, and so it seems fitting we can offer them a private space to relax when they visit us. As our business continues to diversify, the Huntsman Club signifies our intent for expanding the complete bespoke lifestyle.’

With Huntsman celebrating its 175th anniversary in 2024, you can expect an abundance of bespoke events at the club for new collaborations, launches and other causes for revelry. Two of these include the launch of Huntsman Blend whisky in partnership with the House of Hazelwood, and a collaboration with champagne house Billecart-Salmon, now the official champagne of the Huntsman Club.

Seating up to 25 guests, the club partners with private chefs and local restaurants to serve up delicious meals as it hosts social events from formal dining to relaxed cocktail parties. It also boasts a sophisticated dark mahogany champagne and whisky bar inspired by an east London pub where brand owner Pierre Lagrange enjoys some of his favourite tipples. The walls and furnishings are adorned with house tweeds that also frame classic French doors through which you can enjoy an unprecedented view of Savile Row.
