On 15 October, Frieze London – one of the world’s most influential art fairs – returns to Regent’s Park for its 22nd edition. This year, 168 galleries from across the globe will welcome curators, collectors, art enthusiasts and fashionistas, reaffirming the fair’s reputation as a prime destination for trendspotting and creative inspiration. Conversations with Nature exhibition in the Ruinart Art Bar at Frieze London
As part of its ongoing Conversations with Nature art series, Maison Ruinart has invited American artist Sam Falls to create a new body of work reflecting the biodiversity of the Champagne region. Immersing himself in the historic Taissy vineyard, Falls explored the local ecosystem by collecting and profiling native botanical species. His final works, exhibited within the Ruinart Art Bar at Frieze London, combine experimental photographic techniques with natural and atmospheric elements.

Prada Mode London
Italian fashion house Prada takes over The Town Hall, a new cultural venue in King’s Cross, with a thought-provoking installation by Berlin-based artist duo Elmgreen & Dragset. The audience transforms the space into a cinematic setting, exploring the theme of spectatorship and how we engage with different forms of entertainment. On 15-16 October, the venue will operate as a private members’ club, hosting DJ sets and panel discussions. Then, from 17-19 October, it opens to the public, inviting visitors to experience the installation.

Dunhill returns for a third year at Frieze with its Frieze Masters Talks

British luxury menswear brand Dunhill returns for a third year at Frieze with its Frieze Masters Talks, a series of panel discussions featuring leading international artists. Curated by Arturo Galansino, director general of Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, the talks will take place in the Dunhill Lounge and explore the influence of ancient art on contemporary creative practice. This year’s speakers include Tracey Emin, Antony Gormley and Glenn Brown, among others.

The Sessions Arts Club pop-up offers a seasonal menu by chef Abigail Hill

Dining inside an art installation? Sessions Arts Club will transform its stucco interiors into a temporary restaurant at this year’s fair, offering a one-of-a-kind culinary experience curated by chef Abigail Hill. The seasonal menu features Carlingford oysters and jerusalem artichoke, while the space is complemented by a selection of limited-edition creations, including a bespoke pin in collaboration with Completedworks and a custom tablecloth designed with Tekla.

Renowned for its irreverent flair, Rosewood London has unveiled a new afternoon tea experience inspired by the landscapes of Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai. Guests can also admire works by contemporary artist Rose Electra Harris displayed throughout the hotel. For a truly indulgent experience, art lovers can book a curated stay that includes a night in one of the hotel’s luxurious suites, two VIP tickets to Frieze London, chauffeur service to the fair, a bottle of champagne on arrival and breakfast for two.

Quaglino partners with The Dalmore and Grove Gallery during Frieze

Channelling the glamour of the Roaring Twenties, Quaglino’s – founded in 1929 by Italian restaurateur Giovanni Quaglino – quickly became a favourite of royalty and Hollywood icons. This Frieze Week, the St James’s landmark partners with The Dalmore and Grove Gallery for a special art programme featuring two exclusive events and a two-week installation.
On Wednesday 15 October, guests can watch artists Zara Muse, Steve Lazarides, Robi Walters and Amanza Smith complete their pillar installation in real time. The celebration continues on Saturday 18 October as Amanza Smith returns to the bar from 2pm to 5pm to meet guests and toast the occasion with The Dalmore’s limited-edition cocktails inspired by the artists’ work.

George is one of London’s Birley Clubs showcasing contemporary and modern art

London’s Birley Clubs will welcome a curated selection of contemporary and modern art across their elegant spaces. At George, the spotlight is on Chris Levine, renowned for his pioneering light portraits and immersive installations – including his iconic images of Queen Elizabeth II. Over at Annabel’s, contemporary artist Daniel Arsham takes centre stage with his signature “fictional archaeology” sculptures and poetic explorations of time and material. Meanwhile, Mark’s Club hosts an intimate exhibition with Richard Green, the family-run Bond Street gallery, showcasing six modern masterpieces that trace the evolution from Impressionism to Fauvism.
