Breitling gives its women’s Chronomat collection a stylish and colourful makeover
Last year saw Breitling take its classic sports-chic watch from the 1980s, the Chronomat, and reimagine it as a sophisticated line for women. Available in both a smaller 32mm quartz model and a 36mm automatic, it comes in an array of sleek styles that range from classic and pared back to contemporary with subtle flashes of colour. And just in time for spring it gets a bright and beautiful new makeover, with a trio of takes on the Chronomat Automatic 36 designed with the fashion-forward woman in mind.
The South Sea capsule collection comes presented with lacquered dials in contemporary shades of beige, midnight blue, and mint green, finished with alligator straps in matching hues. Adding to the luxe feel are the gold indexes and diamond-set hour markers, with the glamour turned up a notch further with the gem-set bezel in a dazzling gradient of colours. And while the range delivers big on style, it also comes powered by Breitling’s precision timekeeping, equipped with the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 10 that offers a power reserve of 42 hours.
To coincide with the launch, there’s the chance to win a watch from the collection by taking part in a special challenge on luxury fashion styling game Drest, which will go live on Wednesday 17 March at 12pm and run for 72 hours. This is the second brief set by Breitling, who have recently partnered with the interactive gaming app that allows you to style and shop pieces from some of luxury’s top names.
