Dior adds to its elegant Grand Soir collection with a new haute couture-inspired model

When Dior launched its Grand Soir collection in 2010 it applied its unique eye to the world of traditional horology, combining the best in precision watchmaking with the esteemed fashion house’s haute-couture expertise and signature stylish flair. The latest addition to the family builds on these dreamy designs, evoking the sensory experience of the finest fabrics on its watch dial.

What looks, at first glance, like diamonds on the watch face are, in fact, delicate layers of pink- and white-gold elements. These pleated and openworked, netted designs recall the intricate textures of the materials found in Dior’s breathtaking gowns. This refined elegance continues to the pink-gold case, set with round-cut diamonds around the bezel, finished with a sophisticated and pared-back grey satin strap.

The timepiece is equipped with Zenith’s automatic manufacture movement, the Elite. The calibre is viewable through the sapphire-crystal caseback, decorated with a pink-gold rippled effect. Speaking to its precious nature, this latest model is available in a limited edition of 88 pieces.
