Brummell recommends some of London’s best new eateries in which you can waste away those long winter nights

A slew of new eateries is hitting London. Fans of chophouse institution Blacklock can now get their meat fix at its latest outpost in Shoreditch. Load up on Cornish grass-fed chops, cooked over charcoal using the restaurant’s namesake, a vintage Blacklock Foundry iron (theblacklock.com/shoreditch). Also moving in is Pachamama East, sister to Peruvian-inspired Chicama and Pachamama, where seasonal produce meets bold flavours in a modern-but-welcoming setting (pachamamalondon.com). Meanwhile, Selfridges’ new Brasserie of Light restaurant offers all-day dining under a dazzling 24-foot crystal Pegasus installation by artist Damien Hirst (brasserie-of-light.co.uk).
