Hermès fans, there’s now a vibrant extension to the brand’s coveted H08 watch line

No one does everyday watches with a grail-worthy appeal quite like Hermès. Case in point: the French maison’s newest line up of H08 timepieces offers wearability and lightweight comfort with a big presence.

First unveiled at the 2021 edition of Watches and Wonders, the H08 is the product of the creative director of Hermès Horloger, Philippe Delhotal. Upon its release, the H08 sold out almost immediately, lauded by watch collectors and Hermès loyalists alike for its design-forward aesthetics and timeless elegance.

This year, the sporty-chic style welcomes four new models to its ranks, each highlighted by vibrant accents – yellow, green, blue or orange – that frame the minute track and watch-glass seal.

Another defining feature of the 2023 variations is a new composite case. Crafted of braided and aluminised glass fibre and slate powder, the chunky squared-off shape lends a subtle contrast to a grained concrete-coloured dial and an impressive 10-bar water resistance.

For a classic touch, the watch face is also punctuated by luminescent black hands and applied Arabic numerals, while varnished second hands pop in colour for a playful contrast.

Beating at the heart of the new H08 is the Hermès H1837, a Swiss-made mechanical self-winding movement that provides a hefty 50-hour power reserve. And for a killer final touch, each H08 is presented on a matching coloured rubber strap embossed with a woven pattern and secured with a titanium butterfly clasp.
