Bell & Ross present a handsome red and bronze take on its diver’s watch
In a sea of blue diver’s watches, Bell & Ross is making a statement with its latest underwater timepiece. This stylish version of the bold and bulky BR 03-92 Diver, limited to 999 pieces, pairs a handsome red dial and bezel with a case made of satin-polished CuSn8 Bronze, an alloy comprising 92 per cent copper and eight per cent tin.
Bronze has a rich heritage in maritime use, such as for deep-sea helmets and naval construction, and lends a slight vintage feel to the otherwise contemporary design. Furthermore, the material also acquires a patina over time that is unique to the wearer, bringing a special personal touch to the piece that only gets better with age.
As expected from Bell & Ross, this handsome, fashion-forward piece is just as suited to the rigours of deep-sea exploration. It meets the ISO 6425, the standard for diving watches set by the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry, featuring a water resistance of up to 300 metres. Reinforcing its credentials, the watch features its signature emblem of a deep-sea diver’s helmet engraved on the caseback.
