VENTANA REDWOOD BOARD
It took master artisan Martijn Stiphout 100 hours to craft this limited-edition surfboard by Lind – and, surprisingly, that’s just one of the reasons it’s so remarkable. Stiphout is known for making wooden surfboards from recycled and reclaimed materials, and this one is crafted from a piece of Nobel Prize-winning author John Steinbeck’s Western Flyer – last chartered in 1940. The rest of the design, though, is modern through and through. Lind surfboards are all electric, meaning you can surf without waves – a thoughtful gift for a landlocked surfer.
