George Bamford has made a name for his Bamford Watch Department as an innovative customiser of luxury timepieces. So it’s a pleasant surprise to learn that his new creation retails at £425 and can also be personalised.

There are 12 dial options, 11 strap options and 20 characters you can engrave on the back of the case at no extra cost. ‘I used to give out a temporary replacement watch while I serviced timepieces for customers,’ explains Bamford. ‘Over time, clients wanted to buy them. In the end, I decided to develop the model and it became the Mayfair. It’s a great watch to wear and enjoy.’ Simple as that.
