Breitling’s women’s watches get a sophisticated upgrade
Willy Breitling came up with the stylish Premier line in the 1940s, a dapper dress-watch distinctive for its use of refined materials and elegant detailing, and its lineup included one of the first chronographs designed specially for women. Having recently revived the contemporary Premier range, it’s good to see the launch of the new Lady Premier collection.
With a name that’s a nod to Breitling’s women’s series from the ’80s like the Lady-J and Wings Lady, the range comprises two collections.

The Lady Premier, a dainty 32mm stainless-steel case and seven-row chevron bracelet with v-shaped pattern, has dials in mother-of-pearl, inky blue and black, with minimalist numerals, lozenge hands and a sculptural crown, powered by Breitling’s SuperQuartz movement.
The Lady Premier Automatic collection offers rich dial colours of aubergine, sage and dove grey along with an 18k red-gold version with a chocolate dial and alligator leather strap. Both ranges offer even more glamorous models with a cascade of diamonds over the lugs and down the sides of the bezel.

What’s more, the good looks of both versions are matched by a COSC-certified calibre for precision timing.
