Kricket head chef Will Bowlby is running a series of irresistible one-night collaborations with culinary luminaries Vivek Singh, Nuno Mendes and Andrew Wong

Explore the myriad flavours of Indian cuisine while helping support an important cause by signing up for one of three Kricket September Chef Series dinner.

For three nights in September, Kricket head chef Will Bowlby will be joined in the kitchen at the group’s Television Centre restaurant by a world-renowned chef. Andrew Wong, Vivek Singh and Nuno Mendes have all collaborated on a menu with Bowlby that shows how their approach to cooking works with Kricket’s. All proceeds from the three dinners will be donated to Apne Aap Women’s Collective (AAWC), an anti-trafficking organisation that works with the women and children in Mumbai’s red-light district. The first Kricket Guest Chef series took place in 2019 and raised £3,000 for AAWC.

Andrew Wong will cook with Will Bowlby on Tuesday 15 September, on a menu that brings together the regional Chinese cuisine of his restaurant A Wong with Kricket’s Indian flavours.

Vivek Singh is the godfather of Indian cuisine in the UK and has also been hugely influential in Kricket’s progression and success. On Tuesday 22 September, Singh and Bowlby will cook a diverse menu marrying Indian flavours with Western techniques and ingredients.

Portuguese chef Nuno Mendes will cook with Bowlby on Tuesday 29 September. He brings his love of global cuisine to the menu, especially his and Bowlby’s shared love of Goan flavours. Goa’s gastronomic history has been heavily influenced by the region’s time as a Portuguese colony from 1510-1961 and the Kricket menu promises to show the most exciting elements of Goan-Portuguese cuisine.

Reservations for Kricket’s Guest Chef Series can be made on the restaurant’s website here. Tickets for each evening are £50 per person and include a welcome cocktail and three-course sharing menu.
