Baby bug: Bugatti

The new Type 35-inspired Baby II gives kids – and adults – the chance to own their very own electric Bugatti

If you don’t quite fancy dishing out £2.6m for a Chiron, you can now scratch your Bugatti itch with its tribute to the Type 35, the Baby II. It may only be a three-quarters the size of a full-size car, but at €30,000 it almost sounds like a bargain compared to its big brother.

Electric powered and mainly aimed at kids, it is limited to 1 kW and 20 km/h, but an adult optional ‘speed key’ ups the power potential to a more interesting 10 kW and disengages the limiter.
