With a grand design and unrivalled amenities, London’s most prestigious new apartment building sees a Mayfair icon reborn
Travel back a few centuries and one of London’s most esteemed neighbourhoods was scarcely recognisable. What was once marshland became Mayfair with the arrival of the Grosvenor family, armed with a strong architectural vision and a considerable fortune.
First came Grosvenor Square, then Hanover Square. Other grand addresses soon followed, and so did London’s elite. Dukes, duchesses and earls fought to secure the very best homes. Today, it remains proudly crowned London’s top postcode and is welcoming a fresh chapter in its story with an exciting new ultra-luxury development.
Designed by PLP Architecture, with the interiors partially masterminded by the office of the late Thierry Despont, 60 Curzon is a boutique collection of luxury apartments in the beating heart of Mayfair. Minutes from The Ritz and Buckingham Palace, it’s in hallowed company, as property developer, Valouran founder and CEO Alex Michelin, explains:
‘It sits perfectly, a stone’s throw from Berkeley Square, with its amazing art galleries, private members’ clubs and shopping, while also being a few hundred metres from the wonderful verdant spaces of Green Park’.

With a world-class lineup of cultural experiences on the doorstep, this really is living at its very best.
The site is no stranger to significant history. Long before 60 Curzon took shape, it was home to the storied Mirabelle restaurant. Serving European cuisine, it fast became a favourite among prominent figures such as JFK and Winston Churchill. A celebrated haunt during World War II and in the years after, it now finds new life as part of the development’s refined amenities.
‘Building on the achievements of Marco Pierre White, who earned a Michelin star for Mirabelle in 2000, 60 Curzon will firmly re-establish the location on the culinary map, with a world-leading restaurant, Kiji,’ says Michelin. Set to be one of London’s most significant restaurant openings for 2026, Kiji will be an elevated Korean barbecue experience.
Residents at 60 Curzon also enjoy access to a full wellness suite, including a spa, gym, sauna, steam room and pool, all designed to meet the highest standards of comfort and discretion. Each of the 32 residences features a singular interior philosophy echoing the grandeur of the building’s façade.

‘High-profile interior designers such as Elicyon, Tatjana von Stein and De Rosee Sa have played a crucial role in elevating the homes,’ Michelin adds. ‘Their expertise goes beyond creating visually compelling spaces; they are integral in curating a lifestyle of luxury, exclusivity and sophistication that aligns with the tastes and expectations of our buyers.’
The first apartment to be unveiled is by Elicyon. Rich hues, structured symmetry and sunburst chandeliers give a contemporary nod to Art Deco. Focal pieces include a scalloped dressing chair from Marylebone Antiques, bespoke shelving by Rochford Joinery and glazed bedside cabinets by ceramicist Matthew Raw. Throughout, vintage finds such as a 1936 maple-wood grand piano and a 300kg 19th-century marble urn sit harmoniously alongside modern commissions, resulting in a timeless, tactile space.
‘At 60 Curzon, the collaboration with renowned interior designers was inspired by our commitment to curate homes that not only tell a story but that also celebrate the building’s distinctive history, character and location,’ says Michelin. More than just a place to live, 60 Curzon is a showcase of architectural history.
