Brummell curates the standout exhibitions and installations across the city
From April 20-26, Milan reasserts its status as the global capital of design. The 64th edition of the Salone del Mobile – the week’s cornerstone – unfolds at Rho Fiera Milano, where EuroCucina brings the focus to the evolving world of kitchen design. Across the city, the Fuorisalone programme offers a packed schedule of exhibitions, installations, workshops and talks centred on circularity, inclusivity and a more human approach to design. Fashion houses have increasingly entered the conversation, staging a growing number of design-led activations. Here are Brummell’s highlights not to be missed.

PRADA FRAMES: IN SIGHT
Prioritising ideas over product, Milanese powerhouse Prada partners with research-led design studio Formafantasma for the fifth edition of Prada Frames – a series of talks examining contemporary society through the lens of culture. Titled In Sight, this year’s programme explores the power of image-making in the digital age, with lectures, conversations and music performances unfolding within the Santa Maria delle Grazie complex – where Leonardo da Vinci painted his masterpiece The Last Supper. The talks examine how imagery, whether real or machine-generated, shapes politics and the environment. Guest speakers include curator Hans Ulrich Obrist and design critic Alice Rawsthorn.
