Green is the new black

After last year’s full-black colourway, Piaget’s emblematic Polo is dressed in a verdant green hue for 2023

Few watchmaking icons can rival the timelessness of the Piaget Polo. Upon its release in 1979, the much-loved cushion-shaped ticker – the brainchild of fourth-generation scion Yves G. Piaget – set a new standard for luxury sports timepieces, fusing everyday wearability with Swiss know-how.

Much to the delight of watch fans, Piaget unveiled a full-black Polo Date at last year’s Watches & Wonders trade show in Geneva. Now, the Polo has been reworked once again as a brand-new edition arrives for 2023. With this piece, the Piaget Polo debuts in a rich emerald tone that harkens to the polo fields and lawns of West Palm Beach in Florida, where the brand has long held the title of the Official Timekeeper of the Piaget Gold Cup tournament.

Punctuating the centre of the new Piaget Polo is a deep-green gradient dial that changes in intensity depending on the light conditions. There are plenty of other grail features, too, including the iconic gadroons which have been thickened for a chunkier appeal and an interchangeable ribbed bracelet that hugs the wrist perfectly.

Whether you’re looking to buy your first watch, expand an existing collection or purchase a new family heirloom, the new Piaget Polo is an all-rounder upgrade to your wrist that is as versatile as it is iconic.
