Vacheron Constantin and Brummell magazine hosted a glamorous and insightful evening to celebrate Brummell’s Inspirational Women
Brummell magazine was delighted to invite an exclusive selection of its Inspirational Women alumni and Women of Brummell network to a captivating evening with renowned watchmaker Vacheron Constantin at London’s newest West End restaurant, Toklas, created by the founders of Frieze Art Fair.

Guests arrived to a sparkling champagne and canapé reception, where they were welcomed by a friendly and knowledgeable team of Vacheron Constantin brand experts and invited to peruse a fascinating selection of heritage and contemporary Vacheron Constantin ladies timepieces displayed in cases around the room.
Highlights of the heritage watches on display included a spectacular lady’s pendant watch with a hand-engraved case band featuring an exquisite leaf and flower pattern, silvered guilloché dial and a tapestry-like design dating back to 1834, and a secret wristwatch in yellow gold with a polished dome-shaped bracelet from 1946.
An insightful talk by jewellery and watch director of British Vogue, Rachel Garrahan enabled guests to learn about the history and origins of Vacheron Constantin, as well as its commitment to the highest level of craftsmanship and the signature details of its modern designs. Watchmaking excellence has been a perpetual quest for Vacheron Constantin since it was established in 1755, and each and every one of its watches bears a technical signature and unique aesthetic.
After the talk, guests were able to enjoy the enchanting ambiance of the restaurant while catching up with familiar faces and meeting new acquaintances. Indeed, the evening was a suitably convivial celebration of the achievements, determination and dedication of Brummell’s Inspirational Women at the forefront of positive change in the City, and rising stars who are following in their footsteps on their way to the top.
