When Breitling revived the Premier two years ago, it reminded us that smart, dressier watches have long been part of the watchmaker’s DNA alongside its sporty and rugged high performance timepieces. The collection has its roots in the 1940s, where it found favour for its understated elegance, a timeless aesthetic that is just as appealing more than half a century on.

The latest addition to the family is no exception. This special new model celebrates Breitling’s long-standing partnership with the Watches of Switzerland Group, the collection of luxury retailers that includes Goldsmiths, Mappin & Webb and Watches of Switzerland. Produced in a limited edition of just 150, as you’d expect it features a number of special touches. This includes a new colour scheme, with the pared-back silver dial contrasted with blue highlights across the chronograph subdials and the inner bezel.

The watch is powered by the highly regarded Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01, an in-house movement offering an impressive power reserve of 70 hours. It can be admired through the sapphire-crystal caseback, which itself is decorated with the Watches of Switzerland logo. For a final special finishing touch, each watch comes with an exclusive certificate signed by Breitling CEO Georges Kern and Brian Duffy, the CEO of the Watches of Switzerland Group.
