Carl F Bucherer’s Manero Flyback gets a colourful makeover with two new blue-hued versions
Carl F Bucherer’s Manero collection perfectly represents the subtle elegance that underpins the watchmaker’s designs. In 2016, a sophisticated chronograph was introduced into the family, which, for this year, has been enhanced with the addition of two new blue-dialled versions.
The timepiece is powered by the CFB 1970 automatic movement, which along with its 42-hour power reserve offers a flyback chronograph function. This enables the wearer to record consecutive timings, with the feature able to be easily reset and restarted with just a single push.
The alluring blue dial marks a departure from the other more subtle hues seen across the range, and features matching chronograph counters along with a date display at 6 o’clock. A contemporary feel comes through in the 43mm stainless-steel case, which is presented on a choice of two different straps. Offering a more formal sophistication is a flexible, nine-link metal bracelet, carefully designed to mould comfortably to the wrist. It also comes on a textile strap, woven from a complementary radiant blue thread with a lustre that creates an alluring 3-D effect.
