Hublot’s expertise in coloured ceramic shines through in a bright and bold new release
If your holiday plans have been cancelled, Hublot’s latest release might help conjure up scenes of serene, sandy beaches and glistening blue waters. This new take on its Big Bang Unico comes decked out in baby blue and paired with a stylish-yet-practical white rubber strap, ideal for wherever your summer excursions may take you.
Its eye-catching hue is achieved through the use of brightly coloured ceramic. The watchmaker revealed its first model making use of this unique material in 2018 with the bold Big Bang Unico Red Magic. Coloured ceramic has now become something of a signature of the brand, and a testament to the innovation that lies at the heart the watchmaker’s core philosophy. With the material able to be presented in almost all of the Pantone colours, the future possibilities are endless.
This sturdy watch, with its wide 45mm-diameter case, features a futuristic skeletonised dial, highlighted with a blue subdial at three o’clock. It reveals the in-house MHUB1242 movement, offering a power reserve of 72 hours.
