Frederique Constant Classic Worldtimer Manufacture

Frederique Constant has released a new take on its Classic Worldtimer Manufacture that is guaranteed to spark wanderlust. The elegant timepiece, which has been part of its collection for a decade, is now available for the first time in elegant 18ct rose gold, limited to 88 pieces.

The watch is presented with a deep-blue dial from which the continents emerge, rendered in subtle anthracite grey. The time in all 24 different zones, denoted by their principal city, can be easily read via the outer rings, with daytime hours appearing in red, and night-time in grey. The sophisticated aesthetic is completed with the addition of a date counter at 6 o’clock, decorated with a sunray guilloché pattern, while the hour and minute hands and index hour markers are coated with luminescent material ensuring legibility in low light.

This complication is made possible through the expertise of Frederique Constant’s in-house watchmaking. Fitted with the FC-718 movement, all features can be adjusted via the crown, eliminating the need for push buttons and lending a more streamlined look to the case. Delicate details of the movement, from the rose gold plated hollowed-out oscillating weight to the fine perlage decoration, can be viewed to full effect through the sapphire crystal case back.
