Over the centuries, the wristwatch has evolved far beyond a utilitarian piece of technology to tell the time. It’s become a style statement, an expression of personality, and an intimate and treasured object to accompany you throughout your life.

This is something that Chopard understands well as one of the last remaining large family-run watchmakers and jewellers. It’s this essence of joie de vivre and pleasure in every moment that co-president Caroline Scheufele captured so effectively when she introduced the Happy Sport in 1993, a whimsical women’s piece that has become a staple of the maison’s collections.

The timepiece continues to enchant with its dazzling diamonds that dance their way around the dial, and the latest additions to the line are no exception. Presented in a versatile 33mm-diameter case, they take their cues from the ‘golden ratio’ principle of aesthetic harmony, resulting in a beautifully balanced design. Driving the rhythm of this magical choreography is Chopard’s in-house Chopard 09.01-C movement.

There are eight new references encompassing chic two-tone models to iterations crafted entirely from ethical 18ct rose gold. A particularly extraordinary version dials up the glamour even further, made from ethical 18ct white gold and entirely set with diamonds in a true showcase of both Chopard’s considerable expertise as both a watchmaker and jeweller.
