Since 1884, Breitling has been renowned its for high-precision aviation timepieces, and the Navitimer model has been the world’s most highly regarded pilot’s watch since 1952.
Recently Breitling launched the Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 Limited Edition, which combines the historic appeal of the iconic Navitimer with sophisticated, contemporary design, available exclusively at Harrods in the UK as an ultra-limited 50 pieces.
Featuring a luxurious 18k red gold bidirectional rotating bezel – a perfect contrast to the dial in Harrod’s signature green – the watch also features a red-tipped central seconds hand and a date window at the six o’clock position on the dial. Powered by the Breitling Caliber 17, an automatic movement with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. As with all Breitling watches, they are COSC-certified chronometers, a guarantee of their accuracy and reliability, and each Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 is water-resistant to 3 bar (30 metres/100 feet).
Breitling managing director Gavin Murphy says, ‘The new Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 Limited Edition for Harrods has provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate Breitling’s rich heritage in the spirit of the world’s most famous department store. The emerald green dial adds an intense iridescence to our most iconic watch that takes its design cues from the 1950s, providing a contemporary twist on a classic model.’
