Take to the skies: Bell & Ross BR-05 White Hawk

Bell & Ross adds to its BR-05 Chrono collection with a fresh and sporty new model

When it comes to its watches, Bell & Ross makes no bones about its aviation roots. The bold timepieces take their cues from the precision flight instruments found in the cockpits of military aircraft, with highly legible designs that deliver form and function in equal measure. When the brand launched the BR-05 Chrono collection in 2019 it continued in this tradition, albeit bringing a sleek sports-chic aesthetic via its integrated steel bracelet design that makes it just as at home on land.

The latest addition to this line, the White Hawk, offers a fresh new look in a light and airy colour scheme that is in stark contrast to the previous models in classic blue and black. The small details shine through in the silver dial with opaline white finish, grained to elegantly catch the light. Maintaining its focus on ease of use, the sub counters are subtly contrasted to stand out, while the chronograph functions can be seen in the blink of an eye thanks to the red highlights. By night, the dial is just as easy to read due to the hour and minute hands, indices and numerals filled with light-emitting Super-LumiNova.

Limited to 250 pieces, the watch comes powered by the BR-CAL.301 movement, wound by a 360° clear ruthenium-coated oscillating weight. This is visible through the clear caseback, featuring the motif of a hawk metallised in silver.
