Introduced in 2017, the Manero Flyback has become a firm favourite in Carl F Bucherer’s collections. This popular model epitomises the watchmaker’s penchant for classic design with a contemporary twist, backed up by its considerable technical expertise.
Keeping up with the latest trends is a new addition in fetching olive green, riding on the popularity of the colour that seems firmly here to stay. And for fans of the hue this is a particularly fine option, with its pleasing sheen across the dial and elegant tone-on-tone counters. Elsewhere, subtle design details bring a vintage appeal, with its balanced dial complete with tachymeter scale and mushroom-style pushers.
The crowning glory of the watch is the complex flyback function, allowing the wearer to reset the chronograph without the need to stop it first; instead, the chronograph hand will ‘fly back’ to zero. This is powered by the automatic CFB 1970 movement, offering a power reserve of 42 hours and admirable through the sapphire-crystal caseback. Completing the look is a textile strap in a matching green shade.
