Horophiles are used to watch spotting on the big screen, but timepieces from some of the industry’s top names are now taking a starring role in video games, too. In a blending of real life and virtual worlds, you can wear Hamilton’s new military-inspired model in Far Cry 6 before adding it to your own day-to-day wardrobe.

The first-person shooter game takes place in the fictional Caribbean island of Yara, ruled by the cruel dictator Antón Castillo. As Dani Rojas, players are tasked with fighting to free the nation from his rule, receiving the timepiece upon completion of a guerilla mission. It comes equipped with some handy features, improving general defense during sprints as well as allowing players to get in and out of danger quickly.

While the in-person Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Automatic Far Cry 6 Limited Edition can’t promise superhuman advantages, it does come with a number of rugged qualities ready for all sorts of real-life adventures. Powered by the H-10 automatic movement, it has a hard-wearing brushed titanium case and offers a sizable 80-hour power reserve. Meanwhile, a number of stylish touches nod to both the game and its military origins. This includes the black vinyl dial featuring a split ‘6’ marker echoing the typography of Far Cry, while the red seconds hand similarly references the game’s colours. It comes on a brown leather Nato strap and supplied with a secondary brown nubuck leather option that can be easily switched using the provided changing tool.
