Turnbull & Asser's new limited-edition shirt collection includes a version in silk with a ruffle front
Over 133 years, renowned Jermyn Street shirtmaker Turnbull & Asser has dressed clients as diverse as Winston Churchill, Pablo Picasso and Sean Connery. Its new evening shirt collection, comprising seven contemporary limited-edition shirts based on classic styles, looks back at imagery of its clientele, taking the best silhouettes, fabrics and detailing.
From a statement monochrome-striped granddad-collar shirt, to a luxurious cream silk shirt with a ruffle front, each item is handmade in Turnbull & Asser’s Gloucester factory. ‘It is always interesting to see how much past styles influence what we wear,’ says Royal Warrant holder Steven Quin. ‘This collection pays homage to both the past and present.’
