This June, Acqua di Parma will support Father & Son Day 2023 by donating 10% of its John Lewis & Partners sales of Colonia C.L.U.B. cologne and the Colonia C.L.U.B. Father’s Day Set to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
The charity supports The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, funding research as well as state-of-the-art equipment and facilities at this world-leading cancer centre. It thereby helps doctors, nurses and research teams to provide great care, as well as helping develop life-saving treatments that are used throughout the UK and internationally.
After both surviving testicular cancer, Daniel Marks and Jack Dyson set up Father & Son Day in 2014 to spread awareness and raise money for the charity. The day has already raised over £300,000. This money has contributed to specialist robotic surgery fellowships at The Royal Marsden; assisted in the hospital’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic; and supported dieticians, physiotherapists and others in the patient prehabilitation team.
Stephane Euzen, general manager of Acqua di Parma UK, said, ‘We are delighted to be supporting Father & Son Day for a third year. Through sales of Colonia C.L.U.B. at John Lewis & Partners, we will help raise money and awareness for the inspirational work performed by the teams at The Royal Marsden, as well as celebrating the unique bond between a father and son.’
The Eau de Cologne’s base notes of cedarwood and musk were curated to evoke the great pleasure of sharing experiences and making memories with loved ones. This effect is precipitated by sparkling top notes of bergamot and lemon, while aromas of pink and black pepper invigorate a bond between shiso and rosemary.
Antonia Dalmahoy, managing director of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, said, ‘We are delighted that Acqua di Parma will be supporting the campaign again this year. The money raised through this initiative makes such a difference to the lives of people affected by cancer, helping to provide vital support for patients during their treatment.’
