The programmes at Chenot Espace at One&Only Portonovi are offered in a highly flexible way. Guests can either choose to take a fully immersive one-week Chenot programme or chose to experience selected individual elements of the progamme, giving them the flexibility to spend time with friends and family during their time in Montenegro. For those just wishing to simply dip their toe in, there is an extensive à la carte menu of treatments to choose from.

How does the landscape lend itself to the wellness offering at the resort?

 One&Only Portonovi is located at the entrance of the Boka Bay, a sheltered idyll on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast, surrounded by spectacular mountains.  The nautical playground is adjacent to the Unesco World Heritage site of Kotor. Portonovi has been designed to reflect the architectural style of the old Venetian palaces of the region including grand façades, majestic colonnades, signature red terracotta roofs, gardens, and an extraordinary array of indoor and outdoor pools, whilst a private sandy beach rivals the finest of the Mediterranean. The beautiful surroundings naturally lend themselves to the wellness offering – it is immediately rejuvenating and detoxing, particularly being that close to the water. 

How is Chenot helping customers to address the wellness challenges we’ve faced over the past year?

Chenot, as a pioneer in the health wellness industry for almost 50 years, has always advocated the value of wellness. This has not changed, and we will continue to educate and inspire our guests to kick-start or continue to lead a healthier lifestyle. With science being the driver of our core offerings, we are able to fully understand what the impact of our daily lifestyle is on our health, and we can trigger our guests to start acting preventatively and be the “doctor of their own selves”. The pandemic has certainly opened the eyes of many to focus more on what really matters, health.

What lessons has Chenot learned over the past year that you will take forward with you into the future?

We will continue to advocate and do what we do best, which is to focus on detoxifying and reenergising the body and mind to achieve and unlock the full wellness potential. We will continue to innovate, develop, and enhance our offerings towards the latest advances in science and technology, while safeguarding the legacy of our very own Chenot Method®. 

What are your ambitions for Chenot’s future?

Our mission for the company is to continue to set global standards in the wellness industry. We would like to create, contribute towards, and harness a future with more health, and less medicine. We would also like to focus on launching future outposts and continue the good work we have done started.
