Aston Martin has released the first variant of its DBX SUV – a quicker, sharper version by the name of 707. It signifies its power output and is surely not a coincidental nod to Aston Martin’s most famous driver and MI6 agent. That horsepower makes it the most powerful production SUV in the world. Bigger turbos and mighty performance figures – 0-60 in 3.1 seconds and 193mph top speed – are only half the story. The body is reworked with a bigger grill, big spoiler and even bigger rear diffuser. Hiding behind the – you guessed it – bigger wheels are immense carbon-ceramic brakes. It’s the car DBX should have always been and, at under £25k more than the “base” model, it represents good value, given the goodies that have been thrown at it.
