The pasta at this Venetian bacaro beside the canal in Hackney is the stuff of legend. Chef Mitshel Ibrahim (formerly of Clove Club, Dairy Group and St John) is offering a DIY pasta takeaway (available for collection and delivery) with daily changing sauces, for those living within a one-mile radius of the restaurant. To help those in isolation, the delectable Sunday Roasts at Peckham’s Coal Rooms are now available for takeaway. This independent eatery in Battersea has launched a few initiatives to help those self-isolating. The team will be putting together a selection of key produce such as milk, bread, eggs and meat for those who can’t get hold of the essentials, as well as batch cooking dishes in-house to deliver anywhere within the SW11 area. Anyone ordering via Uber Eats or Deliveroo will also receive 20% off their order.

The Chinese pop-up had only just opened a permanent restaurant site before London went into lockdown. Luckily founders Ellen Parr and Peter Kelly are used to working nimbly and are now offering takeaway and delivery of delicious dishes including Yunnan smashed cucumber, sesame noodles, red braised pork belly and sweet potato wontons for Londoners fortunate to live within a two-mile radius of the Clapton restaurant. The Belgravia restaurant and deli set up in a former power station just a stone’s throw from Victoria Coach Station will be offering up its nourishing seasonal fare for home delivery via Deliveroo from Monday 23 March, under the name ‘Wild’, or to share some quarantine home comforts there are now four newly created hampers stocked with various treats from Wild by Tart’s deli. Pasta Evangelists x Age UK partnership

The Michelin-starred east London favourite is offering a new service: the cutely named Homing Pidgin. Homing Pidgin will be serving a changing weekly set menu that can be picked up from the restaurant or delivered in an Uber to be heated and devoured at home. This week’s menu includes cold smoked mackerel with charred asparagus and yuzu kosho buttermilk dressing and crispy fried pork pavé with a Thai-style Waldorf salad with fermented black bean and sour cherry sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The team behind Soho’s renowned The Vault have recently opened a new site in Shoreditch and, from Friday 27 March, it is launching a new delivery service offering an imaginative menu of ready-to-drink cocktails from executive bars manager Chris Tanner for free same-day, no-contact delivery in east London and the City or across the UK within 48 hours (£8). Order one of the bar’s signature serves for two or more or keep it classic with a bottle of Hayman’s Gin and the mixer of your choice!
