With a promise to feed, love and give back, Cojean is the Parisian fast-but-good food solution we all need more of in our lives. You may have seen Cojean popping up all over the City and beyond – the group now has restaurants on London Wall, Chancery Lane, Ludgate Hill and Canary Wharf’s Cabot Place, as well as Selfridges and Berkeley Street – everywhere that busy people are looking for a delicious and nutritious lunch and can’t face another trip to Pret.

Cojean offers a seasonal menu of hearty hot dishes such as cod brandade with cheese or aubergine and lentil dahl, as well as really well-made soups, fresh pressed fruit and vegetable juices, bright and beautiful salads, delicious sandwiches and – fitting to its Parisian founding – really good desserts and pastries (don’t miss the matcha and white chocolate financier). The breakfasts are varied and tasty: try the omelette and bacon-filled brioche buns, plus the coffee is top-notch too. Cojean is a great choice for vegetarians and vegans – more than 50 per cent of its dishes at any time are vegetarian, plus there are always good plant-based options. The restaurants also don’t use animal-derived gelatin as a rule, all eggs are free range, and Cojean only sources fish and seafood from certified sustainable sources.
Cojean has been B Corp certified since 2019, a first in the French grab-and-go food scene, thanks to its commitment to serving seasonal food in sustainable, recycled and recyclable packaging, and because of its commitment to giving back and inclusion. Through its nourrir aimer donner foundation, to which it gives 10 per cent of its profits, Cojean works to help the development of some of the poorest communities worldwide, especially in accessing clean water and food, as well as combating injustice.
The quality of the food added to the good vibes Cojean is putting out into the world makes it a perfect option for breakfasts and lunchtimes in the City, especially as it delivers.
