Cook for Syria

Learn to cook while showing your support for Syria this January at Borough Market's Arabica Bar & Kitchen

Food and Drink 20 Dec 2017

For cooking classes with a conscience, head to Borough Market favourite Arabica Bar & Kitchen on Saturday 13 January. You’ll be able to boost your culinary skills with the help of a Syrian- inspired cookery class in aid of #CookForSyria. Of the £115 ticket price, £15 will go to the initiative curated in partnership with Unicef NEXT Generation London.

After the class, toast your handiwork with a glass of wine. To book, visit shop. arabicafoodandspice.com (morning and afternoon classes are available). For a less ‘hands-on’ approach, diners at Arabica can order its #CookForSyria dish, the Sayadieh, a cumin-dusted pan-fried hake with fragrant onion rice, pine nuts, caramelised onions and tahini sauce.

For each dish sold, Arabica Bar & Kitchen will donate £2 to the Unicef Children Of Syria fund.
